girl by the sea

My beautiful sister Annika modeled for me today, as I have chosen portrait photography as the theme for my upcoming assignment at UiS. The shoot was by the sea, and unfortunately it was quite sunny and I did not have a reflector or an assistant handy. It all worked out, and the reflections of the sun and the water made lots of unpredictable and interesting light. Beautiful day and good photos. 

 For some odd reason, this was the favorite of the bunch. I get a real 70´s vibe off it. I assume that in this photograph she is not paying attention, because she thinks Im shooting yet. Even though her face is not that clear I think its a good portrait.

Captain Jack Sparrow anyone? This is the female, slightly more elegant version.
